University of Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), is Malaysia’s 17th public institution of higher learning. It was approved by the Malaysian Cabinet in May 2001. Both NUB and UniMap agreed in 2011 & 2016 to devise a framework for students and faculty mobility, and to promote joint research and training programs. Ubudiyah University Indonesia (UUI), established in 2004, is a non-profit private higher education institution, officially accredited and recognized by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia. Both UUI and NUB agreed in 2016 to establish joint research, training and academic programs of mutual interest.


Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) established in 1992 recently ranked 42nd among Indian Universities Ranked by National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) belonging to the Ministry of Human Resource Development Government of India. Both NUB and KIIT agreed in 2016 to facilitate faculty, students exchange programs and promote cross collaboration on research and industrial projects.


Maharishi Markandeshwar University (MMU), was founded with the objective of social, educational and economic upliftment of society in the year 1993, becoming a symbol of quality education in technical
and professional medical streams in northern India for over 25 years. In 2016, both NUB and MMU agreed to engage in educational and research activities to promote faculty and students’ mobility.


Graphic Era Hill University (GEHU), established in 1997 in India, is a non-profit organization that aims to mobilize world class education with an objective to provide a competitive edge in the emerging knowledge era which can propel university students into a position of global leadership. Both NUB and GEHU agreed in 2016 to facilitate aculty and student mobility and promote joint research partnerships. And to further explore the possibility of establishing a joint post-graduate research program. Iraq University, established in 1989, offers bachelors and graduate university degrees in sciences, humanities, applied medicine, engineering, media and arts, law, education, and other subjects. Both NUB and the Iraqi University agreed in 2016 to establish a framework for joint research and training and to implement joint academic programs.
