For The College of Computer Science to be a distinguished college locally, in the Arab world and in Africa, and to be characterized by creativity and innovation in providing educational services and scientific research in the fields of computer science using international standards, and to take the lead in community service and environmental development in order to achieve local and national sustainable development plans.

 

Mission:

The College of Computer Science is committed to providing contemporary academic programs in computer science that develop the cognitive, skill and behavioral aspects of students in a way that qualifies them for the national, Arab and African labor market and to devote the thought of entrepreneurship to them and to provide the appropriate climate as an intellectual, research and advisory center in the fields of computer science at the local, national and regional levels and to apply the international quality standards in all its academic and service activities.

  1. Preparing graduates with a worth of contemporary knowledge to achieve excellence in the disciplines of computer science and information technology on the national and regional scale.

  4. Strengthening the capabilities of scientific research and innovation in the fields of computer science and information technology of local national priority in accordance with Egypt’s vision for sustainable development 2030.
  5. Dedicating the role of the Faculty of Computer Science alongside the university’s role as an intellectual and advisory center to serve the implementation of local and national development plans in accordance with Egypt’s vision for sustainable development 2030.
  6. Achieving academic excellence in accordance with national accreditation standards and international classification.
  7. Ensuring the application of governance and transparency rules in the provision of all electronic and administrative services in accordance with international quality rules.

Computer Science Program Mission:

The Computer Science Program is committed to preparing an academically and professionally distinguished graduate in the fields of computer science, capable of entrepreneurship, competing in the local and regional labor market, and supporting the community by conducting scientific research, through an educational program that achieves national academic reference standards, and a digital educational environment that meets quality and accreditation standards.

Computer science program goals:

  1. Preparing graduates with contemporary knowledge to acquire excellence in computer science disciplines at the national and regional levels.
  2. Preparing graduates who possess the personal and professional skills necessary to acquire creative thinking skills that meet the needs of the national and regional market.
  3. Preparing distinguished graduates with moral and behavioral discipline, who have the motivation and enthusiasm for excellence and mastery at work and have belonging and loyalty to the homeland.
  4. Enhancing the capabilities of graduates and directing them to the fields of creativity, innovation, and digital transformation in the fields of computer science.
  5. Providing community service and environmental development in the fields of technological applications and digital transformation and enhancing the role of the program in providing specialized scientific services and consultations to government and private agencies.
  6. Providing the student with the necessary knowledge and skills to analyze and solve technical and scientific problems to develop the student’s personality, readiness for innovation, belief in teamwork and the ability to compete locally, regionally, and globally.
