| Under the patronage of Dean of the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine at Nahda University, Prof. Dr. Suzan Saif-Allah Ibrahim, Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Mofty, the Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Affairs, Dr. Khaled Al-Saudi, Director of the Continuous Education Unit, and in collaboration with the CAD/CAM Unit, a workshop on “Digital Dentistry” was organized. The workshop was supervised by Dr. Ehab Faragly, Assistant Professor in the Department of Fixed Prosthodontics and Director of the CAD/CAM Unit. A large number of students and dental interns attended the event. |
Computer-Aided Design and Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) technology has become an essential pillar in modern dentistry, significantly improving clinical outcomes. This technology enables precise digital design and fabrication of dental restorations such as crowns and bridges, reducing human errors and enhancing accuracy, which leads to improvements in function, durability, and aesthetics.
