Al-Nahda University signed cooperation protocols with Egyptian banks

Dr. Mohamed Hani Ghoneim, Governor of Beni Suef  and Prof. Dr. Hossam Al-Mallahi, President of Al-Nahda University, witnessed today Monday, 21/6/2021, the signing ceremony of the cooperation protocol between Al-Nahda University and a group of banks.  They are: the National Bank of Egypt, Banque Misr and  the Export Development Bank of Egypt, to participate in the simulation models program implemented by the university, to prepare and empower its students for the labor market, especially to work in major financial institutions such as banks and large companies, by providing them with the required skills and experience.

The Governor of Beni Suef stressed the importance of such programs aimed at refining students’ skills and providing them with the necessary practical experience to enter the labor market while they possess knowledge and practical experience. As the study is not sufficient to obtain a distinguished job opportunity in the era of its elements, components and data in a successive and accelerating development. called on all academic institutions to follow that path, praising the remarkable cooperation between state institutions in all fields and sectors within the framework of the vision and directives adopted by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of the need to work as one team for comprehensive and sustainable development.

Prof. Dr. Hossam Al-Mallahi, President of Al-Nahda University, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Governor of Beni Suef, describing him as a distinguished model for young leadership that works in various fields according to a vision based on science, hard work, and reliance on youth and academic and executive experiences. Referring to his support for all the efforts of civil society, which contributed positively to the implementation and intensification of all targeted activities, noting the method used at the university, which is based on science in parallel with activating the applied side and practical simulation.

The protocols were signed between Prof. Dr. Hossam Al-Mallahi, President of Al-Nahda University, and the heads of the boards of directors representing the banks, in the presence of Dr. Omar Al-Munir, former Deputy Minister of Finance, Dr. Hossam Al-Masry, medical advisor to the Council of Ministers, Dr. Magdy Abdel Qader, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Al-Khadrawi, Dean of the Faculty of Business administration at the university and a group of university leaders, faculty members and students of the faculty of Business Administration.

The protocols signed by the university with banks aim at spreading financial and banking awareness among students,  and training students on Tasks of banks by transferring practical experience to them in order to prepare them for the labor market, through these banks preparing and distributing educational brochures, providing lectures to students, and a series of seminars on the work of banks, while the university, represented by the faculty of Business Administration, implements all the terms of the agreement. In addition to providing halls and logistics for the establishment of training programs, seminars and workshops, and placing the logo and brand of banks in the halls for holding training programs, seminars and workshops.

 On the sidelines of the signing of the protocols, the Banks Simulation Model, which was implemented by the faculty of Business Administration at Al-Nahda University, to transfer the practical experience in addition to the academic study, By preparing a model for training students on various banking business, and applying them and presenting them themselves through training programs that allow them to transfer experiences and actual application, and create an environment similar to the environment and nature of work in banks, In addition to presenting some introductory videos explaining the history of the banks, their field of activity, their future plan, and their previous work.
