We’re seeking an experienced IT manager who has the technological skills to make us even more efficient. This person will analyze current systems and assets, recommend, and implement solutions and upgrades, and provide training. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of network maintenance, experience as a manager, and advanced industry knowledge to keep us on the cutting edge. Job Description
The IT Manager oversees the IT department in an organization and by ensuring services run smoothly, this guarantees the smooth running of the business on a day-to-day basis. IT managers are responsible for a wide variety of duties, such as developing team-level strategic plans and product maps in addition to the daily running of the IT department. They have the final say on the desktop tech used, and as such, they must evaluate, select, implement, and manage these components effectively.

Responsibilities include:
The IT managers’ duties comprise analyzing the computer needs of the organization and suggesting upgrades for the executives to consider. The IT manager will organize and direct the installation procedure of the computer hardware and software, and ensure relevant maintenance is carried out when required.
The IT manager also must manage continual projects, assess the costs and benefits of each project, and justify the funding when pitching projects to the top executives, as well as negotiate with vendors to get the best level of service.
It is also part of their job description to learn about new technology and find ways to upgrade the systems within the business and will need to finalize personnel needs for their department.
· Supervise the IT and computer systems.
· Regularly check, organize, and control the IT and electronic data operations.
· Manage the staff by recruiting, training, communicating the expectations and appraising their performance.
· Design, develop and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures in the department.
· Ensure that all the data, network access and systems are secure and protected.
· Regularly ensure backing up of systems.
· Work towards the user’s needs by identifying problem areas and implementing solutions quickly.
· Regularly audit systems and study the outcome.
· Ensure cost effectiveness and work in line with the budget.
· Regularly file reports on the functioning of the systems and department.

· Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration
· Track and maintain hardware and software inventory.
· Analyze departmental needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to inform business decisions.
· Ensure network components work together seamlessly to meet business needs, using their full range of capabilities, and stay informed about new features and competitor solutions.
· Analyze processes, technologies, and vendors continually to find areas for improvement.

Job Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology.
· 10 – 15 years’ experience
· Strong understanding of business management, financial, and leadership principles.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
· Time and project management skills.
· Ability to analyze processes and information, identify problems and trends, and develop effective solutions and strategies.
· Commitment to providing exceptional service to customers and support to staff members.
· Strong analytical with problem solving skills.
· Experience leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies.
· Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems
· Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
· Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize.
· Familiarity with Microsoft networking (Including but not limited to: Domain controllers, name servers, file, security issues and standard computing security procedures/policies and print sharing)
