Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Duties

* Participate in the design, development, and deployment of web applications and microservices using the Laravel framework.

* Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to industry best practices.

* Assist in the development, integration, and optimization of RESTful APIs.

* Perform database query optimization and core technical troubleshooting (debugging).

* Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to implement secure coding standards and mitigate application vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10).

* Engage in peer code reviews to ensure code quality, compliance, and standard alignment.

Technical Requirements & Qualifications

* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a closely related technical field.

* Experience: Strong foundational knowledge of the Laravel framework and PHP (1 to 3 years of professional experience, or a robust portfolio of graduation/personal projects).

* Databases: Solid understanding of relational database management systems such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.

* Version Control: Proficiency in utilizing Git ecosystems (Git / GitHub / GitLab).

* Frontend Basics: Fundamental knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

Preferred Qualifications (Plus Points)

* Familiarity with web application security principles, data encryption, and identity verification.

* Basic understanding of system redundancy, high availability, and performance tuning.

* Hands-on experience or familiarity with containerized environments (Docker).
