Overview Of the Role
We are looking to hire a full-time System Admin with hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining an organization’s IT infrastructure. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including system design, configuration, troubleshooting, and ensuring the overall performance, security, and reliability of IT systems.
What You’ll Be Doing

- Office 365 Expertise:
- Manage and administer Office 365 applications and services.
- Configure and maintain Office 365 services like Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
- Implement and manage Intune for device management and security.
- Develop and enforce MDM and MAM policies to safeguard data and applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Office 365-related issues.
- PowerShell Scripting
- Kaspersky Administrator Expertise:
- Implementation and Configuration
- Security Management:
- Policy Enforcement
- Updates and Patch Management
- Monitoring and Reporting
- Troubleshooting
- System Center Configuration Manager Expertise:
- SCCM Infrastructure Design and Implementation
- Software Deployment and Packaging
- Patch Management

- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution
- Migration and Upgrade
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models.
- Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies.
- Domain Controller Expertise:
- Active Directory Management
- Manage network servers and technology tools.
- Set up accounts and workstations.
- Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements.

- Group Policy Management

- Technical Skills:
- Provide technical support to clients, resolving IT issues promptly and efficiently.
- Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management.
- Diagnose hardware and software problems and perform necessary repairs.
- Offer guidance and training to end-users on IT-related matters.
- Ensure timely response to service requests and adhere to SLAs.
Security and Compliance:
- Implement security best practices and stay updated on cybersecurity trends.
- Assist in data protection and compliance efforts, including data backup and disaster recovery.
- Conduct security audits and risk assessments
Requirements
- Bachelorās degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a System Engineer or similar role. With 7 – 10 yearsā experience
- Experience leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies.
- Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems
- Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize.
- Familiarity with Microsoft networking (Including but not limited to: Domain controllers, name servers, file, security issues and standardĀ computing security procedures/policies and print sharing)
- Strong knowledge of operating systems, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with networking protocols and security best practices.
- Experience with system monitoring and performance tuning.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or CompTIA Server+ are a plus.
- Microsoft Certified is required.
- CCNA Certified is a Plus.
