Systems & Network Section Head

📌 Position Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Systems & Network Section Head to lead and manage our IT infrastructure operations. The role focuses on ensuring high availability, security, and performance of systems, networks, and enterprise services while aligning IT strategy with business goals.

🚀 Key Responsibilities

🔧 Infrastructure Management

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure (servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud).
• Ensure high system availability, scalability, and performance.

🌐 Network Management

• Design, manage, and monitor network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs).
• Ensure secure and stable connectivity across all environments.

🏢 Data Center Operations

• Manage data center operations including power, cooling, and physical security.
• Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

👥 Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and evaluate the systems and network team.
• Foster a collaborative and performance-driven environment.

🧠 Strategic Planning

• Develop and execute IT infrastructure strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Evaluate and adopt new technologies to improve operations.

🔐 Security & Compliance

• Implement and manage cybersecurity measures (endpoint security, access control, monitoring).
• Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.

🖥️ Systems Administration

• Manage Active Directory, Domain Controllers, Group Policies.
• Oversee system deployment, updates, and patch management.

☁️ Microsoft 365 Administration

• Manage and optimize Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
• Ensure security, availability, and user productivity.

⚙️ SCCM Management

• Administer SCCM for software deployment, patching, and system compliance.
• Monitor and troubleshoot endpoint issues.

🤝 Vendor Management

• Manage relationships with vendors and service providers.
• Evaluate solutions and negotiate contracts.

📊 Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate documentation for systems, networks, and procedures.
• Provide regular reports on system performance and incidents.

🎯 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations.
• Strong expertise in:
  • Networking (Routing, Switching, Firewalls)
  • Windows Servers & Active Directory
  • Virtualization & Cloud Services
  • Microsoft 365 & SCCM
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

⭐ Preferred Skills

• Experience with cybersecurity tools (e.g., Endpoint Protection solutions).
• Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions.
• Certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, VMware) are a plus.
