Signing a memorandum of understanding between Al-Nahda University and American West Virginia University

Within the framework of Al-Nahda University’s plan to enhance international cooperation with foreign universities, Al-Nahda University signed a memorandum of understanding with the University of West Virginia in the fields of academic cooperation and exchange of staff and students. This was during the visit of Dr. Hossam Al-Mallahi – President of Al-Nahda University to the United States of America, in the presence of Professor David Stewart – Vice President of West Virginia University, and Professor Dr. Ali Masoud – Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Washington.

Dr. Hossam Al-Malahi explained that the memorandum of understanding signed between the two universities aims to achieve full cooperation in the fields of teaching, exchange research and scientific information, share bibliographic information in areas of common interest to staff at the two universities, and Developing and implementing expression programs and pathways for student mobility through exchange programs and direct and supported student enrollment.

The President of Al-Nahda University confirmed that the two universities will work to develop and implement seminars, forums, workshops and conferences that will be taught at the two universities, in addition to developing and implementing joint visit programs.

It should be noted that the University of West Virginia is a research university in Morgantown, West Virginia, USA, and was founded in 1867. It provides counseling and communication with offices in 55 West Virginia counties. Enrollment rates in all universities are 32,348 students. The university offers programs Multiple degrees, reaching 200 bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in 15 colleges.
