Professor Hossam Al-Mallahi – President of Al-Nahda University, and Professor Dr. Dalal Abu Al-Ela – Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, received on Tuesday 26 February 2019 a high-level diplomatic delegation from the Nigerian Embassy headed by the Nigerian Deputy Ambassador and the Education and Cultural Adviser of Nigeria. The delegation was received by a group of deans and leaders of the university, and during the meeting they discussed ways of scientific cooperation in the field of student exchange and postgraduate studies.
During its visit, the delegation visited the Faculty of Medicine, and Prof. Dr. Tariq Saeed – Dean of the Faculty gave a presentation of the capabilities that characterize the Faculty, such as the Faculty hospital, morgue, laboratories, library and classrooms, in addition to the academic system and the various specializations offered by the Faculty.
The delegation also visited the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine and the Faculty of Dental Hospital, and the visit included operating rooms, recovery rooms, dental clinics, simulation laboratories, classrooms and the library. They were accompanied on their tour by Prof. Dr. Gilan El-Gendy – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine for Education and Student Affairs.
At the end of the visit, the delegation expressed its admiration for the great, modern and distinct capabilities of the faculties of Al Nahda University, especially the electronic fingerprint system that ensures discipline for students and professors, as well as the modern equipment for the various laboratories, and the delegation met with Nigerian students at the university and took memorial photos with them, and the students expressed to the delegation how happy they are at joining At the university and thanked them for the university administration for the great effort they make to serve them and provide the appropriate atmosphere for their studies and excellence.
