On Tuesday, January 4, 2022, El Nahda University held a ceremony to celebrate the college of oral and dental medicine’s academic accreditation from the National Authority for the Quality of Education and Accreditation, which comes as part of the university’s quest for academic accreditation for all its colleges and to consolidate its position, which has become one of the ranks of international universities.
The ceremony was attended by Dr. Hossam Al-Malahi, President of El Nahda University and Senator, Professor Dr. Mohammed Ayoub, Vice President for Graduate Affairs and Community Service, Professor Dr. Suzanne Saifallah, Dean of the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, Faculty and Associates, Administrators and Students.
Dr. Suzanne Saifallah, Dean of the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, thanked Professor Dr. Hossam Al-Malahi, President of the University, and Professor Dr. Mohammed Ayoub, Vice President of the University for Graduate Affairs and Community Service, for continuing support and the university’s constant keenness to provide the necessary possibilities to improve the educational process, and to prepare a doctor capable of keeping up with the labor market and competition locally and internationally.
She also thanked all the staff on quality files in previous years led by Professor Dr. Ahmed Jamal, former Dean of the College and Professor Dr. Jilan Al Jundi, former undersecretary of the college, and stressed that this success cannot be attributed to one person or a particular group, until the stages of failure were a step in the path to success.
For his part, Dr. Hossam Al-Malahi, President of the University, praised the achievement achieved by all employees of the Faculty of Oral medicine and dentistry, and stressed that the journey is long in the college and the university as a whole, and that he dreams of the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine internationally, dreams do not end and we are always able to achieve them with work and will.
Dr. Suzanne Saifallah, Dean of the Faculty, was honored by faculty members, faculty and all administrators, and the first students were honored at the ceremony.
It is worth mentioning that academic accreditation is the means to reach quality assurance for all the university’s activities and academic and administrative activities, and a gateway for the student to work in institutions of high reputation, and academic accreditation opens up the prospects of cooperation between the Faculty of Oral Medicine and dentistry and other local and international colleges in all fields.
