NUB celebrates graduation of the 2018 batch of its faculties

NUB celebrated the graduation of a new batch (2018 batch) from the faculties of oral and dentistry, pharmacy, engineering, computer science, masscom., marketing, business administration,  in the presence of Dr. Mohammed Latif, Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Universities, deputy of Dr. Khalid Abdul Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Research. Counselor Hani Abdul Jaber, Governor of Beni Suef, Dr. Alaa Abdul Halim, Governor of Qalyubia, and a group of members of the House of Representatives, public figures and media professionals, Dr. Hossam Al-Malahi, President of the University, Engineer Mohammed Al-Rashidi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Vice Presidents of the University, Deans and staff members, parents and graduates.

The ceremony witnessed a parade of graduates led by the university leadership parade, followed by the honoring of first rank NUB graduates and the distribution of certificates among the graduates.

Dr. Hossam Al-Malahi, President of NUB, congratulated the graduates and their parents, and confirmed the development witnessed by the university in several fields including that of international students and the holding of partnerships with many distinguished foreign universities, developing the research role of the university to become central for African energy, food and water research, activating the community participation of NUB, linking scientific research to development in Egyptian society, and the role of the university as a beacon in upper Egypt, and improving the level of university graduates to create a place for them in the labor market.

Eng. Mohammed Al Rashidi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, also delivered a speech congratulating the graduates and their parents and confirmed the support of the Board of Trustees for all aspects of development and modernization that the university is currently witnessing on all tracks, as he pointed out that the Faculty of Medicine, which was built and furnished in the latest model in partnership with the oldest medical schools in the world to be a medical and health beacon to serve the children of Upper Egypt, as he pointed out that the university is in the process of establishing a number of new faculties that meet the needs of the community and contribute to achieving sustainable development. The Board of Trustees supports all college partnerships to cooperate with foreign universities, develop the university’s teaching methods and scientific research, and also emphasized the university’s efforts in the service of Beni Suief in the coming period through actual projects serving the people of the province.

The artist Medhat Saleh performed the alumni ceremony with a bunch of his most beautiful songs with which the graduates, parents and all those present in the ceremony interacted.
