Based on the keenness of the Faculty of Engineering at Al-Nahda University to link the scientific side with the practical and applied side, and to achieve the highest benefit for students, Graduating engineers with scientific and practical skills that keep pace with the development of the labor market, Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Hossam Al-Mallahi – President of the University and based on the directives of Prof. Dr. Salem Al-Khodari – Dean of the faculty of Engineering,. Under the coordination of Dr. Hassan Mahmoud – Head of the Scientific Visits and Training Committee at the Faculty, and under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Saad – Head of the Electrical and Renewable Energy Engineering Department, and Dr. Ali Jamal, Head of the Communications and Computer Engineering Department, at the Faculty of Engineering, A training course was held for faculty students for (33) students from the departments of (Electrical and Renewable Energy Engineering – Communications and Computer Engineering – Mechatronics Engineering) at the Electrical Networks Training Center in Helwan for a period of three weeks during the period from Sunday 4 September to Thursday 22 September 2022.

Based on the keenness of the Faculty of Engineering at Al-Nahda University to link the scientific side with the practical and applied side, to achieve the highest benefit for students, and to graduate engineers with scientific and practical skills that keep pace with the development of the labor market, Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hossam Al-Mallahi – President of the University and based on the directives of Prof. Dr. Salem Al-Khodari – Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, the Department of Electrical and Renewable Energy Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, headed by Dr. Muhammad Saad – Head of the Department, and coordinated by Dr. Hassan Mahmoud – Head of the Scientific Visits and Training Committee, organized in college, A training course was held for (30) students from the department in Al-Karimat power stations for three weeks over three periods (Group I: from July 16 to August 4, 2022 / The second group: from August 6 to August 25 / The third group: from Saturday, September 3 to Thursday, September 22, 2022) with an average of 6 theoretical days and 12 working days in four power plants in Al-Kuraimat (Al-Kuraimat Electricity Station 1 – Al-Kuraimat Compound Electricity Plant 2 – South Helwan Electricity Plant – Solar Power Plant).

The Continuing Education unit organized a scientific day and workshop titled “Basics of Dental Implantology”,
under the patronage of the Dean of the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, Prof. Dr. Suzan Saif-Allah Ibrahim,
Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Mofty, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Affairs, and Dr. Khaled Al-
Saudi, Director of the Continuing Education unit. The event was under the supervision of Dr. Nahed Adly,
Assistant Professor and Head of the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. A large number of students,
dental interns, faculty teaching staff members attended the event.
The first lecture was titled “Introduction to Dental Implants” presented by Dr. Mohamed Adel – Lecturer of Oral
& Maxillofacial Surgery. The second lecture was titled “CBCT Interpretation” presented by Dr. Mohamed El-
Hawary – Lecturer of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. The third lecture, titled “Zygomatic Implant” was presented
by Dr. Nahed Adly, Assistant Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
The hands-on training focused on placing dental implants on casts, under the sponsorship of Tree Dental. This
provided participants with a comprehensive and practical educational experience in dental implant procedures.
