Graduation Ceremony – Class of 2024, Faculty of Pharmacy, Nahda University

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hossam Al-Mallahi, President of the University, and Eng. Mohamed Al-Rashidi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees.

In the presence of a distinguished group of Nahda University leaders:

  • Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayoub: Vice President for Postgraduate Studies.
  • Prof. Dr. Ashraf Omar: Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.
  • Prof. Dr. Mona Hetta: Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy.

In an atmosphere filled with pride and achievement, Nahda University celebrated the graduation of the Faculty of Pharmacy’s Class of 2024 on Sunday, October 19, 2025. It was a day that combined joy with dignity, marking the beginning of a new journey for our distinguished graduates.

We were also honored by the presence of elite leaders and prominent figures in the academic and pharmaceutical fields, including:

  • Prof. Dr. Abdel Nasser Singab: Head of the Pharmaceutical Studies Sector at the Supreme Council of Universities and Member of the Management Committee of the General Syndicate of Pharmacists.
  • Prof. Dr. Hanan Abdel Hamid Suleiman: Vice President of Beni Suef National University.
  • Dr. Yasser Shalaby: Head of the Beni Suef Pharmacists Syndicate.

This was an exceptional day bringing together moments of pride and happiness as we celebrated a new generation of pharmacists—a generation capable of creativity, excellence, and serving their community and profession with passion and responsibility.

The Medical and Aromatic Plants Festival

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hossam Al-Mallahi, President of the University; And the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Omar, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; And Prof. Dr. Mona Hetta, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy:

The Department of Pharmacognosy at the Faculty of Pharmacy – Nahda University participated in the activities of the 4th edition of the Medical and Aromatic Plants Festival. The event was held in Beni Suef Governorate from October 18–19, 2025, at the Tourist Walkway along the Nile Corniche. Student Contributions & Products the Department’s participation featured a diverse range of natural products formulated by students, targeting various segments of the community. These included:

  • For Children: Natural products featuring safe formulations and gentle scents.
  • For Athletes: Preparations designed to provide a sense of freshness and aid in muscle relaxation after workouts.
  • For Women: Personal care products based on natural essential oils.

The display also included natural immune-boosting beverages, as well as remedies beneficial for colds and insomnia. Scientific Demonstrations & Community Interaction The booth was distinguished by a scientific demonstration of the Clevenger Apparatus used for extracting essential oils. Additionally, an interactive corner titled “Ask an Expert” was organized, allowing visitors to inquire about the safe usage of medicinal and aromatic plants. This participation reflects the faculty’s commitment to enhancing its community and environmental role. It emphasizes the implementation of practice-based learning and highlights the students’ skills in applying their knowledge of pharmacognosy and medicinal plants in a practical and innovative manner.
