Al-Nahda University celebrates the International Day of People with special needs

In the context of Al-Nahda University’s endeavor to support students of special needs to support human rights and sustainable development, in order to fulfill the promise of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic regarding ensuring that no one differs from the ranks, explaining that commitment to the realization of human rights of people with special needs is not only a matter of justice, but rather an investment in a common future.

Al-Nahda University celebrated the International Day of People with special needs on Wednesday 15/12/2021 under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hossam Al-Mallahi, President of Al-Nahda University and Eng. Muhammad Al-Rashidi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, to discuss issues of inclusion of people with special needs and to raise awareness about disability issues and to draw attention to the benefits of establishing an inclusive and accessible society for all.

The ceremony included artistic performances presented by students of Al-Noor and Al-Amal School, students of Beni Suef University, and students of Al-Nahda University.

 Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Rabie, Director of the Special Education Schools Department, thanked Al-Nahda University for sponsoring this celebration and explained that the celebration is not limited to an annual basis, but every day we support people with special needs.

Captain Mohamed Farouk, Director of Youth Welfare Department at Beni Suef University, added that the disability should be an incentive for students to reach the goal and achieve self-realization and not the other way around.

Prof. Dr. Alaa Balbaa, Dean of the College of Physiotherapy stressed the need to establish a fully accessible society and to achieve equal opportunities for education for people with special needs. Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayoub, Vice President for Graduate Studies, explained that Al-Nahda University spares no effort to support community development issues, and achieving equality for the sake of better education for people of determination, and during his speech, he stressed that Al-Nahda University was honored to receive students of determination to honor and motivate them to provide better levels scientifically, technically and educationally.

The Faculty of Mass Communication, Al-Nahda University wins the Excellence Award at the Arab Media Youth Forum in its second edition

The Faculty of Media and Public Relations at Al-Nahda University won the Excellence Award at the Arab Media Youth Forum in its second edition, organized by the Faculty of Media at Cairo University for the film “A Good Doer” in the field of community development in the short film competition that was held on the sidelines of the forum. The college participated in the forum by sending a delegation of its students To attend the forum’s activities and workshops, the Dean of the College, Prof. Heba Al-Samri, was honored in the opening session of the recipient by Prof. Dr. Howaida Mustafa, Dean of Cairo Media and President of the Forum. Believing in the desire of the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, Al-Nahda University to provide the opportunity for graduates of dental faculties to register for postgraduate degrees to build scientifically and practically qualified cadres through an integrated study program compatible with the requirements of The era, the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, Al-Nahda University announces the opening of the postgraduate program (Master’s ) From 19/2/2022, provided that the application is from 1/1/2022 to 31/1/2022 in both specializations:

  1. (Master of Prosthodontics )
  2.   (master of Periodontology )

The applicant must meet the following conditions:

* The applicant must have a general grade “good” and a grade of the specialty subject “very good” at least, or a cumulative average of 2.3 and 3 in the case of studying for a bachelor’s degree in the credit-hour system.

* At least two years have been spent in practicing the profession after graduation.

The program includes three years consisting of 6 semesters according to the credit-hour system. The annual fees are 70,000 (seventy thousand pounds) to be paid equally for the two semesters of each year at 35,000 thousand pounds for each semester, and the teaching assistant at the college receives a 50% discount on the expenses.

The Faculty of Mass Communication, Al-Nahda University, organizes a celebration of “October Victories in the Eyes of Egyptian Cinema” and honoring the mother of the martyr Muhammad Mukhtar

On Tuesday, October 26, 2021, the Faculty of Media and Public Relations at Al-Nahda University organized a major celebration coinciding with the Egyptian state’s celebrations of the 48th anniversary of the glorious October victory, under the title “October Victories in the Eyes of Egyptian Cinema” in the presence of a number of martyrs’ families.

This event comes within the activities of the cultural season launched by the Faculty of Media and Public Relations at Al-Nahda University at the beginning of the current academic year under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Hossam Al-Mallahi, President of the University.

The event included the screening of a documentary film on the most prominent Egyptian cinema films that dealt with the heroism and sacrifices of the men of the armed forces during the wars of attrition and October 1973.

The family of the martyr/ Muhammad Mukhtar, a first lieutenant in the armed forces and a son of Beni Suef governorate, participated in the ceremony. The ceremony was also attended by Major General Staff Harb/ Hosni Salah El-Din, one of the heroes of the armed forces in the October War, who recounted his unique experience as a fighter during the war, and a number of artistic icons, foremost among them the product The great filmmaker/ Mohamed Al-Adl, the documentary director/ Hanan Mohamed Radi, and the film critic/ Nahed Salah.

Dr. Mohamed Ayoub, Vice President of Al-Nahda University, praised the efforts of the Faculty of Mass Communication in organizing important events that help raise the level of awareness and belonging to the new generations of students.

Muhammad Al-Adl stressed the need for the state to support the production of new cinematic films that add to the current cinematic legacy and document and perpetuate the victories of the glorious October war, in humanity and militarily.

At the end of the celebration, Dr. Heba Al-Samri, Dean of the College of Media, honored the guests and honored the filmmakers that dealt with the glorious October victories, headed by the great director/ Inaam Mohamed Ali, maker of the films “The Road to Eilat” and “Stranger Tales” and the late great director/ Mohamed Radi, filmmaker “Life is a moment”.
