The Minister of Higher Education on an inspection visit to Al-Nahda University

Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, accompanied by Dr. Mohamed Helmy Al-Ghor, Secretary of the Council of Private Universities, Dr. Hossam Al-Mallahi, President of Al-Nahda University, Eng. Muhammad Al-Rashidi, Chairman of the University Board of Trustees, Deans and a group of university leaders, visited this afternoon Monday, December 21st, Nahda University in Beni Suef .

During his visit to the university, the minister inspected the Faculty of Physical therapy and its departments, laboratories and classrooms, and his Excellency praised the faculty equipped with the latest devices and equipment in the field of physical therapy, and the faculty’s ability, both human and material, to provide an excellent educational service for students. The Minister also visited the clinics of the Faculty of Oral Medicine and Dental Surgery, and the Minister of Higher Education praised during his inspection of the clinics the distinguished human and material capabilities and modern equipment of the Faculty of Oral Dental Medicine and Surgery, and the distinguished services it provides to patients in Upper Egypt.

Dr. Hossam Al-Mallahi, President of Al-Nahda University, appreciated the visit of Dr. Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar to the university, and his inspection to the Faculty of Physical therapy, which is the latest addition to the university’s facultys, as well as the clinic of the Faculty of Medicine and Oral and Dental Surgery, and confirmed the university’s constant keenness to adhere to the highest quality standards and the latest education systems, with the aim of graduating students who are able to compete in the labor market locally and internationally.

Eng. Mohammad al-Rashidi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, confirmed that all modern facilities and equipment have been provided to all faculties of the university’s medical sector (human medicine – oral and dental medicine – physical therapy – pharmacy), in addition to providing all modern equipment for other university faculties (engineering – computer science – Business administration – Media and Public Relations), which has achieved a boom in e-learning in all disciplines.

It is noteworthy that the Faculty of Physical Therapy at Al-Nahda University, which started the study for the first time this year, includes 6 departments, including the Department of Basic Sciences and Biomechanics, the Department of Orthopedic Physical Therapy and Playground Injuries, the Department of Physiotherapy of Neurology and Surgery, the Department of Pediatric Physiotherapy and Surgery, and the Department of Physiotherapy For surgery, dermatology, gynecology and obstetrics, Department of Internal Medicine Physiotherapy. The Faculty of Physical Therapy also includes a distinguished and selected group of staff, and the faculty is distinguished by the presence of central research laboratories equipped at the highest level such as anatomy lab, anatomy museum, physiology laboratory, tissue laboratory, biochemistry laboratory, biophysics laboratory, biomechanics laboratory , Computer Science Lab, Children Lab, Heart and Lung Lab, Electrotherapy Lab, Electro diagnostic Lab, Hydrotherapy, Movement Analysis Lab, Therapeutic Exercise Lab, Measurement Lab, and Manual Therapy Lab.

The Faculty of Mass communications and Public Relations, Nahda University, organizes the third annual graduation project festival

Under the patronage of Eng. Muhammad Al-Rashidi – Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al-Nahda University, Prof. Dr. Hossam Al-Mallahi – President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Dalal Abu Al-Ela – Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Adel Abdel Ghaffar – Dean of the Faculty of Mass communication and Public Relations, the Faculty of Mass communication and Public Relations organizes the third annual festival for faculty students’ graduation projects next Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at the Nahda University Theater.

The graduation projects of the Radio and Television Department include the “job letter” project, the “Nightmare Project”, the “Great Certificate” project, and the “Break” project.

Graduation projects for students of the Public Relations and Advertising Department include the “Suit and Dress” project, and the “get it in Safe” project.

A group of media professionals participate in the jury for the graduation projects, and they are:

Mr. Amr Abdeen – Dramatic Director, Mr. Mohamed Al-Ashqar – Director of Advertising at Al-Ahram Advertising Agency, Dr. Mustafa Abdel-Wahab – Vice President of the Regional Channels Sector of Egyptian Television and Former President of Channel Seven, Dr. Muhammad Saeed Mahfouz – well-known interviewer and director of Al-Ahram Regional Institute.

The festival also hosts a group of honorary guests, who are:

Journalist Khaled Salah – Editor-in-Chief of Al-Youm 7 ‘newspaper, Dr. Khaled Abu Bakr – international lawyer and presenter of several television programs, Karim Hassan Shehata – sports interviewer , and artist Sharif Agami.

Prof. Dr. Adel Abdel Ghaffar, Dean of the Faculty, stated that the annual festival of graduation projects for students of the Faculty of Mass communication encourages students to compete with each other, and develops their skills in preparing and presenting television programs and films, and producing advertisements and public relations brochures that help them join the labor market.

Students of the Faculty of Mass Communication, Nahda University, visit Al-Nahar TV

Within the framework of the interest of the Faculty of Mass communication and Public Relations at Nahda University in field visits to various media institutions, In order to permanently link students with the labor market and its developments, the faculty of Mass Communication, under the patronage of Dr. Adel Abdel Ghaffar, Dean of the Faculty, organized the first visits by students for this academic year to Al-Nahar channel on Thursday, October 3, within the framework of the weekly visits that the faculty allocated to media institutions every Thursday.

The students received Mr. Maged Amin, producer of Akher Al-Nahar program, who accompanied the students to the main studio of Al-Nahar channel, and gave them a detailed explanation of the importance of lighting and how to use it during filming. The students also learned how to manage television episodes inside the studio.

The students inspected the main control units (Control Room) and learned about the mechanism of directing and montage of television programs, and from there to the play out room to explain how the final broadcast of the programs broadcast on the channel is made. At the end of the visit, the students were accompanied by Mr. Khaled Al-Laithi, Director of Production Department for Al-Nahar Channels Network, and the students were introduced to the different studios, and he explained how Autocue Unit works. The students met with a number of media professionals, including Ms. Bossi Al-Tayyar, presenter of (Ezzay Elsaha) program, and Ms. Marwa Al-Shafei, presenter of (Akla Beity) program.

Students of the Faculty of Mass Communication, Nahda University, on a field trip to the administration of Moral Affairs in the Armed Forces

Within the framework of the interest of the Faculty of Mass communication and Public Relations at Nahda University in field Trips to various media institutions, to link students with the labor market and its developments, the Faculty of Mass communication and Public Relations, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Adel Abdel Ghaffar, Dean of the Faculty, organized a field Trip on Thursday, October 17, 2019 to administration of the moral affairs of the armed forces.

The students received Buggery Ihab Al-Qahwaji, Assistant Director of the Moral Affairs Department at Colonel Saif El-Din Hall, and he clarified a complete view of the students about the tasks of moral affairs and their various specializations and their role in raising the morale of soldiers and citizens. A documentary film for students entitled “Truth and Challenge” was shown, which dealt with the various tasks of moral affairs management and its role in motivating and supporting the will of soldiers, especially in times of crises and wars.

During the visit, Brigadier General Ibrahim Attia, Commander of the Military Media Center, gave a detailed explanation of the center’s units and the tasks of its various departments, starting with the agency section, websites, translation and viewing, passing through the information analysis section, the social media section and the analysis, publishing and technical support departments.

In addition, Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Iraqi Deputy Head of the Military Media Department reviewed the main pages of the authority, explaining the importance of sources in knowing information, and the need to stay away from unknown sources that produce false information. He also emphasized the media role that young people play in spreading awareness and culture and avoiding rumors. .

Then the students were taken on a field tour during which they inspected the work system within the Military Media Center and its various departments, including the Translation Department, the Social Media Department, the Media and Technical Support Units and the Reporting and Watching Department, and during the tour, all students ’inquiries regarding the performance of the military media were answered.

At the end of the tour, Brigadier General Ibrahim Attia stressed on the importance of not being led by rumors and false news, and the importance of verifying news sources.

The visit was concluded by the awarding of Dr. Abu Bakr Al-Salhi, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication, the Shield of Al-Nahda University for the Department of Moral Affairs, in appreciation of the university and faculty administration for their efforts and the good reception of students, and the great benefit from the visit that contributed to instilling the values of loyalty and belonging among students.
