Under the patronage of Dean of Faculty of Oral & Dental Medicine, Nahda University, Prof. Dr. Suzan Seif-Allah Ibrahim and Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Mofty – Vice-Dean for Community Service and Environment, and Dr. Khaled Al-Saudi – Director of Continuing Dental Education & Training Center, the Continuing Dental Education & Training Center organized “Dental Photography” Course, which was presented by Dr. Mahmoud Al-Ankily – Assistant Professor of Oral Biology and Dental Photography at the British University in Egypt. He is also certified as Dental Photographer from the University of Birmingham.

The course represents a vital addition to the field of dentistry, as dental photography is an essential tool for accurate diagnosis, effective treatment planning, and comprehensive case documentation. It also enhances communication between clinicians and laboratories and increases patient awareness through visual explanations. The event witnessed strong engagement from the participants, who praised the scientific content and the faculty’s efforts to promote continuing education and advance the professional level of medical practitioners.

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hossam El-Mallahi, President of Nahda university, Prof. Dr. Suzan Saif-Allah, Dean of the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Mofty – Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Affairs, and Dr. Eman Magdy – Assistant Professor of Oral Medicine, Diagnostic and Periodontology, and Head of the Dental Interns Committee, the opening of the Scientific Poster Day for dental interns for the academic year 2024-2025 was successfully organized. The event showcased the participation of thirty scientific posters presented by dental interns, highlighting their clinical cases across various specialties. The presentations demonstrated a high level of creativity and innovation in both design and scientific analysis. An esteemed panel of faculty members from the college and Beni-Suef University Faculty of Dentistry served as the judging committee, with the event attended by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Nabil – President of Beni-Suef Dental Syndicate.

In line with the college’s commitment to excellence and innovation, the Dean honored the winners of the Best Scientific Poster Competition, recognizing their exceptional efforts and creativity in designing professional-quality posters. This event underscores the college’s dedication to developing the skills of intern doctors and motivating them toward scientific and professional excellence, and finally wishing all the participants continued success and achievement in their academic and professional journeys.

Students of the Faculty of Dentistry at Nahda University successfully concluded their training week with the Medical University of Vienna through an exciting hands-on scientific experience.

They participated in an interactive workshop where they presented analytical and treatment plans for complex clinical cases under the supervision of Vienna distinguished experts.

On the fourth day of the Vienna University program at Nahda University, the Medical University of Vienna delegation continues its lectures at the Faculty of Dentistry – Nahda University from “Gender-Specific Dentistry” to “Anti-Aging Dentistry” and “Digital Smile Design Technologies”. A remarkable scientific day combining knowledge, practice, and creativity.
