The faculty of Fine Arts organizes a lecture and workshop to raise awareness to combat violence and bullying

Coinciding with the International Day to Combat Violence and Bullying, the Faculty of Fine Arts at Al-Nahda University organized a lecture and workshop to raise awareness of combating violence and bullying against children and adolescents, in the first week of November, based on the date approved by UNESCO, which is the first Thursday of November of each year.

This came under the auspices of Prof. Hossam Al-Malahi, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Magdy Abdel Qader – Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Galal Hassan Shehata – Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, And under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mona Al-Sars – Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.

Through the workshop, the students produced art materials in printing, drawing, movement, and photography to raise awareness of combating violence and bullying.

An introductory symposium on the Scientific Society of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Al-Nahda University

Egyptian Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation at Al-Nahda University “EPSF-NUB” organized an introductory symposium on the scientific association of the faculty, which is always keen on the cultural and scientific advancement of the students of the Faculty of Pharmacy, to enhance the pharmacist’s role in society and its future contribution to the development of health awareness for the entire community.

The symposium came within the framework of supporting all voluntary activities related to the development of students of the Faculty of Pharmacy, to bridge the gap between theoretical study and the requirements of the labour market in line with the university’s vision of preparing a generation ready for tomorrow.

The Faculty of Fine Arts, Al-Nahda University, on a scientific Trip to the Fayoum Art Center

Within the framework of Al-Nahda University’s interest in linking the scientific and academic side with the practical side, The Faculty of Fine Arts organized for its students a scientific Trip to the Fayoum Art Center, Where they met the artist Mohamed Abla and Youth artists who received the Sawiris Foundation grant for interactive artistic residency at the center in the field of sculpture and photography, and discussed their work and implementation methods at the center which aims to harness art and creativity to serve the community, and focuses on raising awareness about sustainability as well as teaching future generations the role of arts in recycling and using the materials in their surroundings creatively.

The students concluded their tour by visiting the ceramic workshops in the village of Tunis, which was famous for transforming the homes of its people into exhibitions (gallery) and workshops for the manufacture of ceramics, and visiting the Caricature Museum, which is the first museum of caricature art in Egypt and the Middle East.

The Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, Al-Nahda University organizes a medical convoy to the village of Bani Ahmed in Beba

Within the framework of the role of Al-Nahda University in community service, and its keenness to help the people of the remote villages and the most in need, the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine organized a medical, curative and educational convoy for the village of Bani Ahmed in Biba at Beni Suef Governorate, where the convoy focused on two aspects, one of which is the signing of a medical examination for the villagers and the diagnosis of more than From 100 cases of adults and children, minor problems are dealt with through the convoy, and more difficult cases are transferred to the Oral and Dental Hospital at Al-Nahda University and follow-up on the case for free. The other side focuses on educating the villagers about oral and dental health and how to prevent various oral diseases.

Many students, teaching assistants and interns at the university participated in the convoy. The students participating in the convoy confirmed their happiness with the assistance of the people of remote villages who are most in need and who face difficulties to come and receive treatment in the hospital, in addition to the new students acquiring the experience of communicating with patients.

The people of the village expressed their gratitude and happiness with the service provided by the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine at Al-Nahda University, which contributed to the development of the community role provided by the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine.
